The Integrated Care Partnership Board has published its 10 year strategy for health and social care.
The document, titled A Bolder, Healthier Future for the People of Birmingham and Solihull highlights the partnership's vision for the future and the improvements that it wants to see over the next ten years for everyone who lives, works and receives care within Birmingham and Solihull.
The simple aim of the strategy is to improve life expectancy for the people of Birmingham and Solihull.
To achieve its aim, the strategy sets out five clinical areas to focus on:
- Circulatory disease
- Infant mortality
- Respiratory disease
- Cancer
- Mental health
